I can agree to some extent. Being prepared is the best way.
maybe they were prepared, hence they added new servers within a day.
They are adjusting them in accordance to load but i feel overdoing it shouldn't work against them either. just opens up more space for peak times like this.

They don't even own their own servers, they lease from a farm. Amazon's servers as far as I know. What it comes down to is contracts, they couldn't get a short one for the extra demand, looked at the cost and decided it wasnt worth a long time pay increase for a week or less of very peak action. But I tend to agree, for 5 million a day in gross I think you guys could pony up and pay for a little overhead, you know instead of just winging it maybe?
Also consider this thing called 'beta'. When you test a game on 100 ipads and it works great and u expect to scale it to 10 million or more ipads, your asking for a bad day. That's why every game worth anything has an open beta, hell even Microsoft jumped on the bandwagon and gave out Win 7 & 8 betas just to collect feedback. Let your community help you shape your products before you dump them on everyone half baked. Expecting feedback from 4 youtubers to be sufficient is bad form, and honestly if they said something was wrong/broken would you have even fixed it? I doubt it. I'm not sure if the whole community agrees, but I would have much rather waited a couple of weeks while you straightened things out. Instead we get this dumped on us, half baked, and top clans have a expectation to participate whether you like cw or not.
Honestly computer games like this have had issues, I remember WoW issues, Diablo issues, any game where content is released all at once relatively untested and to the masses. Maybe CW should have been released to the top 200 clans or something before you opened the flood gates. IDK just thoughts, but at least have the foresight to think things through. What really bothers me is just acknowledging all the problems and saying your working on fixing them, when really they didn't have to be there in the first place.
