close the app and open it back up. you may have to do this 10 times but just keep repeating and you will be able to attack eventually. this has worked for 10 of my clan mates (at least 10 so far). we were stuck at preparing and eventually with just reloading enough times it figures it out and itll let you move on and attack. just keep trying.
i also heard leaving the clan and joining back does the trick. its a issue with the cache and the overloaded servers

Reloading probably doesn't change anything actually. It's server related, so when it goes it will go. I've done what you suggested and nothing changed. It's a time thing.. when it happens it happens.
you probably just pressed the home screen and went back to your game. you have to CLOSE the app, not just go back to your home screen.
No I exited out, force closed the application, and went back in 20 times.
It's not client related, it's server related.
Clan wars does matchmaking on the server not the client, hence the reason why you can close the matchmaking screen and go about your business, even turn off your tablet. It's server based at that point.
Same with this, it's a server based issue that just so happened to coincide with you going out and back in.
