How long until your war Starts? Are you READY?!

I'm a leader too, I could never do that to my clan! The anticipation for the release was so intense that another week would be torture. And no loss of resources (bar troop cost) so why not have a trial run to learn from mistakes?

It wouldn't hurt to do a trial but most of my clan agreed it wouldn't hurt to wait. Following the update i had a few people that we're asking questions like "Why are there resources on my clan castle?". I responded immediately with a clan wide message saying the forums are your friend, use them, and find the clan wars FAQ section, lol. So all in all sure i personally want to begin a war, but a the same time im glad i didnt. We could have had some serious confusion.
Side note we're a very laid back clan, mostly locals that know each other personally, so some members dont log on enough/dont have time to have already known how the wars operate. I can only answer so many questions at a time given my schedule as well.

And yea, my biggest fear is people coming in and not reading messages and attacking whoever they choose. I have 30 out of 40 with a target assigned though so should be ok. (18+ clan..95% sure haha)

Yup, 100% agree with both things. Clan members have to be up to date with new update (made mine watch youtube vids from Daddy). Clan has got to be ACTIVE.
