We're actually waiting a full week (my call as leader like it or not) so everyone can get a firm understanding of what they need to do in preperation and so we don't have to deal with any glitches bugs or otherwise that could hinder our first war.
In regards to our style of war we're taking on the most difficult bases we possibly can before moving on to the easy guys.

luckily I'm the strongest in my clan lol. Only issue is that the other team has a TH 10 with 2 inferno towers. No one in my clan can win against those yet. The rest of them seem like chumps lol.

I'm a leader too, I could never do that to my clan! The anticipation for the release was so intense that another week would be torture. And no loss of resources (bar troop cost) so why not have a trial run to learn from mistakes?

I don't know. We spent 3 days talking about how to fill the Clan Castles and then someone came in immediately after the update and put a PEKKA in 10 of the castles. I am afraid that if we assign targets it will be a waste because people will come in after the war has started and go straight to attack and not read first.

This is with adults. I cannot imagine the cluster that a kids clan will be.

My clan war took 30 minutes to start. I guess we were one of the lucky clans.

We have about 6 hours till ours. Don't know how the matchmaking is working out (we have 1 TH10 and 3 TH9 they have 5TH10s and 2 TH9s). We are attacking our counterpart with the first raid. Then clean up and pick up stars where we can with second raid.

Well a children's clan will have problems. I'm in a 13+ clan (we are still pretty mature I guess) and we still messed a few things up. I can't imagine what a clan of 10-14 year olds will go when it is go-time Those will probably the people that will be upset with Clan Wars:eek:

3.5 Hours until mine starts....NERVOUS. I really want to win the war. It would really suck to lose my clans first war. Especially since I'm the leader, I will really take that defeat hard
