WE HAVE 50 members but only 29 are registered to participate in the upcoming clash and a few of them are our strongest players. Looking at the members list, the shield/sword emblem only appears on 29 of them so I'm assuming there participants.

You would be correct. Except that the number players going to war should be a multiple of five

Once a clan has been found, you cannot cancel a war. It's very strange only 29 members have the sword badge though. It should be in multiple of 5's since we are matched like 30v30, 35v35, 40v40, etc. How many members are participating in the enemy clan?

I was never given the cahnce to opt in or out. Im not sure how i would even do that. But i am not listed to battle today and im one of the most powerful in our clan.

It happened to a lot of people (including myself). I think it is a bug and might be because of how crazy busy the servers were yesterday. I expect/hope that it will be fixed for the next war. It's a bummer to be near the top of the clan and not be able to help out with your attacks.

Ahh well it's just the first war, next time we'll get in there.

If I get excluded two times in a row though... lol I will not be happy.

I know it is a dumb question, but....

Did you join your clan while the game was looking for your CW opponent or even after it had found the opponent? As far as only having 29 players out of more then 30, did someone quit your clan after you declared war?

Still in the same pseudo-spectator mode for this war, I think next one should hopefully work better. I'll be in cheerleader mode for my clan during this war.
