A Qustiion about Spectating.

A quick story to sum up:

Were a clan of 45 members strong and we were all excited to get into a clan war, being the leader of the clan I hastily declared war, within 10 minutes of searching we got paired with a clan like ourselves. Feeling confident against our opponent we started to donate wizards, archers and dragons to our clan mates. We quickly began to realise as we got further down the map, we couldn't donate to a whole selection of our members. According to our clan board 14 of our active members are spectating the battle, while only 12 of the enemy are sitting out of battle. This means the enemy have 4 more attacks than we do, which is very unfair.

Being outnumbered and feeling fustrated, the very confident clan Oblivion is now feeling disappointed, with every bit confidence/hope of winning their first clan war crushed, they now results in sulking in the corner accepting defeat even before war has started.


Can anyone shed some light on how this spectating works? We got paired with the same amount of members but for some reason only 31 players are taking part in the war where they've got 33 players participating. Thank you.

Overall I love the new update, you've done a great job Supercell of brining clans together with more strategic fun!

From what i understand there are still some problems/bugs with CW that SC are working to fix soon.
Give it some time and everything will be worked out

Just give supercell time to sort out bugs and loopholes in the system, This is a very large and complex update that uses alot of mathematics to make clan wars possible! Staff of supercell are only human so it can take awhile before CW runs completely smooth, Happy clashing.

Well, as far as i know, the amount of people participating in a war, are always the same in both clan. So when a clan with 30 members fight with a clan with 34 members, the clan with 34 members will only have their top 30 players participating. So I'm pretty sure the amount of participant in both clans are the same. Try looking at your war map, and count the number of bases, I'm sure it would be the same. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. I've counted both sides and over all we both have 45 members, this doesn't explain why we've been dropped down to 31 members who are actually participating in the war. Some of our top players including myself have been excluded from the war, which also makes it unfair.

Thank you Kendra, I appreciate everything Supercell are doing and I'm sure they are well on the way to fixing these sort of problems that are occurring.
