This is Ribozyme from Chinatown ii. As everyone is excited about the Clan War, I want to share some of my thoughts about the attacking strategies. It is about how to win the entire clan war, not each individual battle.
I will use a clan that has 20 TH 10, 20 TH9 and 10 TH 8 as an example. And assume clan members are all active players but in different time zones. The final goal is to avoid a strong player in your clan picking a too weak enemy base giving an overkill and leaving the weak player in your clan nothing to attack. As a commander, while it is not so hard to figure out we should start attacking the weakest base, clan members can not stay online at the same time and ready for your orders. Maybe 1 or 2 time feasible but not always. So how to coordinate? My general plan is:
Step 1. The first attacking opportunity
Every clan member attacks the enemy that has the same rank in the war map. (Remember this is not the trophy number but the estimated rank by the system. It can be seen once you scout your base in the war map).
Goal: winning 2 star, secure 1 star.
Step 2. The second attacking opportunity of TH8
TH8 players attack enemies' TH 8 base which is not 2 starred at the first round. Of course starting from the weakest base.
Goal: 2 or 3 star all TH 8 bases.
Step 3. The second attacking opportunity of TH9
TH9 players attack TH8 base that is not 2 starred. Once all TH8 base is 2 starred, try to 2 star all TH 9 base.
Goal: 2 star all TH9, 2 or even 3 star all TH8.
Step 4. The second attacking opportunity of TH10
Choose either 2 star all TH9 or 3 star all TH8. After that 1 or 2 star the rest TH10 base as much as you can.
Goal: 2 star all TH9, 1 or 2 star TH 10.
Do not attack any 3 starred base.
This is purely my brief thoughts and any suggestion or discussion is welcomed.
