Clan wars question

Having read the FAQ, I still have one quick question. So can go modify your war base during preparation, and then it locks during war? Or does it lock when preparation begins? Because I tested it and my war base didn't change with my regular and I'm in preparation.

Another question is that of we use our war cc in defense or battle, do we keep them or do we request more?

1. Your CW base is set at the end of the preparation phase.
2. CW clan castle troops are used in defense only.
3. CW clan castle troops do not need to be replenished after each attack.

Thx for the info! So are CC troops for attacking come from the normal CC? And aren't there supposed to be "recommended targets" for me?

1. CC troops for attacking come from you 'normal' base (the one you request for)
2. Recommended targets are shown when the battle phase begins

Your base locks in with the server after the 24 hours of day 1 (preparing).

Extra information and tips:

-The weak bases you see out there might be a trap, remember: they can change it within the 24 hours given time.
-This game mode's target is to get your clan stars, not resources. So don't worry about your resources if it is clan war time.

What if you are redesigning right before when the prep period ends? Are you still allowed to finish redesigning or does the war base automatically set to the base you had before the redesigning?

It will take the base that is connected to your account when the prep period ends. If you're in the middle of editing your base and this happens, it will take the last SAVED base as that is the one the server have associated with your account.
