    This is simply not the case, if your hero is currently upgrading 'in the real world' he/she is available for defence at the lower level but is NOT available in attack. Similarly another thing that wasnt clear is that your battle city CC troops only help on defence when attacking it is the troops in your 'real life' CC that aid you.

    Oh and the 'scout' button is totally bugged to hell and almost never works....

    Even though it's a pain in the ***, I may understand that you guys dont want heroes to be usable whilst upgrading in the normal game.

    But in CW, this shouldnt be the case. Why make our bases 100% efficient in defense but not our armies 100% efficient in attack?

    CW and overallgame should be two totally separate stuff. We NEED heroes up for attack in clan wars, this is absolutly fun-breaking not to have them, considering defending villages have both to defend !!!
    Seriously make it right with us, I'm not even asking for a huge change of how heroes work. you really don't want heroes to be useful while upgrading in game ? ok, fine, we can get over it as it is how it's been since their release.
    But CW is out, overall logic of it is to be a side-part of theg ame with different rules ... give us heroes for attack, god, please....

    Although I can't get behind some people's drama queen statements that there's no point to clan wars without the heroes, I have to agree with the person above that having them always available on clan wars would make far more sense.

    Why make our bases 100% efficient in defense but not our armies 100% efficient in attack?
    I couldn't put this better.

    In that case Steve there is a bug here as well,
    at least for me.

    I attacked once and used the king.
    He was sleeping when I wanted to do my second attack and he wasn't available on my line of army composition. (Troops, CC, heroes, spells).

    Yeah, I started upgrading my queen to lvl 27 when I saw Steve's message about being able to use them in clan wars even while upgrading. Now, debating whether to blow 850 gems on the 6d... Bit bummed; thought I was smart waiting for confirmation before starting the upgrade. Oh well, no one's perfect.

    Yes, to 100% clarify:

    If you are upgrading your AQ or BK and enter the war phase of a clan war, they will be available to you for both attack and defense at the level they are being upgraded FROM. If your AQ/BK are new but haven't completed being built (that sounds weird), they will be available at level 1.

    Clear enough guys? =D

    Ok, well, we all Make mistakes sometimes.
    Although you can't change what mistakes you made, you can solve the problem that caused it.

    I think the main reason there are so many questions, is that there are to much ifs and buts.
    Like def buildings are operational whilst upgrading, so should heroes. See my point?

    keep it simpel, logical, avoiding questions and problems.

    They are disabled for attack when you upgrade them! It's been this way since they released them. They're functional in war bases, not war attacks or war maps. Just like in the normal realm, cannons that are being taken apart and improved do not magically come to life and shoot at intruders.

    But Steve said they would be...I had both my heroes ready to go when cw started but because of his comment I hit the upgrade button. Very frustrating to say the least...
