Clan Wars Bugs & Problems

We believe this is tied to server overload issues from yesterday. They will have to sit out this first clan war. Should be fine for the next one.

11 out of 40 of us are having this issue in our clan and we are facing a clan ranked about 100. It leaves us no shot of winning, and many of us including myself purchased gems in anticipation of this event.

I waited until after this mornings maintenance break to search for a clan war match hoping the issues would be fixed. As of now my clan has still not been matched and it has been several hours. What is the solution to this issue?

My clan is in queue for a clan war for 10 hours straight.

i tried canceling after 5 hours, after 3 hours, after 6 hours, still no opponent found .......
i'm leader.

Same here. We are going to get smoked since none of us can donate to each other. Also, our clan's points are 12858...their's are 20283. We are all silver...they are gold, crystal and master.

Hey guys,

First, let me say: I can't be sure if this has already been posted, but sorry. I am not going to read through 87 pages. Please skip if this issue has been adressed already

So, preperation day is almost over. Our clan, which ranges from Gold III to Chrystal I, is matched with a Chinese clan (who appear to be farmers), slightly lower in trophies and in less than two hours we go to WAR. YEAH!!

Now, I've used the past 22 hours wisely and scouted opponents, and I noticed something weird in the ranking of their players. Now according to the Godson video, the ranking is based on the following things:

1) Hero lvl
2) TH lvl
3) lvl of your weapons
4) stats of your base (walls)
5) number of players

Seems fair right? Imagine my surprise when I see this guy in their second to last spot.

I see I left his town hall out of the picture (he hasn't centered it yet) but this is, from what I can tell, a fully maxed out TH8, defense wise, skull walls, wizard towers and everything. Meanwhile, one spot above him resides a TH9, which frankly looks like it should be a TH7. I can't upload a screen because of limited space, but this guy has full lvl 6 walls, lvl3 air defense, lvl 3 wizard towers, lvl 8 cannons, basically every defensive stat is one to three levels below the guy in the 39 spot. I guess technically it's up for debate because TH level is taken into account, but he has an arguably weaker base. Way weaker.

Where it gets really weird though, is when we move up another three spots. Here we see a TH6. Golden walls, defenses pretty much as high as you can get them in TH6, but still, this guy is weaker than the guy at 39 in every way. Have a look:

Now I just think this is weird. This may not technically be a bug, but there sure is something odd about the ranking system. If all this is the way it's supposed to be, I'd love to hear that as well, but I have a feeling it's not.

Anyway, that's just my two cents. Other than a few issues I love the update so far, so iron these out and it'll be awesome. Keep up the good work!

Clan Chat Lag: Related to server overload. Should work fine now.

Chat lag not fixed either ... so there are still general load issues. Can't tell about clan war issues itself, as we are still waiting - for hours now on the main clan.

EDIT: just found that messages got completely lost in clan chat in between ...

Our entire clan was stuck in spectator mode yesterday and now it just continues to search for an opponent clan. It has been this way since this morning's update. One thing we've also noticed is that our profiles say we are eligible for next war in two days. Please help as we are losing the excitement and some patience. Thanks.

Sometimes it takes a long time for a match to be found, keep waiting

1. There should have been an announcement made beforehand to say NOT to search for a clan war until most/all of your clan has updated, ruling out most of the complaints posted here.

2. An explanation as to why those that are ineligible are included in the war map, again this has the majority of us baffled & its the reason why most are wondering why they cannot donate/receive troops because they are ineligible.

Thank you for responding. We remembered that tip from yesterday and it didn't help. We've even switched who started the war when we rebooted and nothing. What about it saying we're not eligible for war until 2 more days?
