I think I speak for a large majority of people on here and am sure I am repeating somebody, but I am sure I am not the only one that has this viewpoint.

I completely understand the servers being overloaded and bugs being exposed that need to be fixed as soon as possible, great, fix the problems as quickly as you can. Where my issue comes in is that there are a couple of people, that arent with SC that are using the same recycled message to reply to someone every few hours. Restarting the app does not solve the problem, and being patient goes out the window when high level players in our clan are not able to have clan castle troops for defense, nor donate to other members who I am sure would love to have things like level 5 wizards as defensive troops and the war is scheduled to start in a couple hours. Many of us have taken time completely restarting our base setups for this clan war, taken time trying to figure out if we are even going to be able to attack once the war starts and spending resources training troops for specific battles against people of opposing clans when all of that time spent doing that could add up to huge amounts of raided resources. With as much money as it has been stated that SC makes off of CoC alone there should be a few extra dollars in the budget for some kind of public relations personnel to give frequent updates as to how these maintenance updates are going. With over 85 pages of people repeating having the same issues there should be more than a handful of messages from people involved in the problems to answer very basic questions that say more than give it time and we are working on it. Don't ♥♥♥♥ on us for days at a time just to tell us that its raining a couple times a day.

Hey! New to the forums... My clan was one of the unlucky ones that got stuck in spectator mode yesterday. We became unstuck after the maintenance break, and able to search for an opponent again. But worried that we are going to get frozen again. Been searching for an opponent for 2 hours, 45 vs 45. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about?

Also, my clan was full with 50 members when we started the war... Why is it that some of our members are being sat out? 3 of them have no double sword shield next to their names. See attached photo. It doesn't make sense!

Would really appreciate a response!

The error for this has been given by a mod.

Here is the mod's reply to my PM.

I can't say shiv. I think the issue was if a war started before some folks downloaded the update and logged on, a field wasn't set, so the system saw them as ineligible, so the war would have started without them.

The good news is it wouldn't have counted these folks in the strength score, so the war should still be matched somewhat evenly.

I do not think the maint would have fixed wars already started, but was to address the next time you start one.

I don't have a lot of details from the team, they were up for 24+ hours yesterday and are quite busy and not online with me ATM

Supercell, I upgraded my clan castle during prep day but it is not "taking" in the battle area. The icon changed from level 5 to level 6 but it's capacity stay at 25 (instead of 30) on the war map. Is this a known bug?

Fully agree to most people here. As clan wars seem to drastically affect over all game performance it should simply be stopped until SC got the various issues fixed.

You haven't seen many software roll outs.....

Yes there are big bugs especially the one where random members seem to be put in spectator mode and the server overload bug that put people in wars against no one.

But if you look at the big picture, many of the clan wars are working well overall. I think focusing on the few bugs is tainting your view of this. It was a MAJOR upgrade. It was basically like building an entire new game inside of an existing game without a true beta test. If they did a beta test I can almost guarantee that we wouldn't have clan wars for at least another month or more. I much prefer they launch it now, fix the few bugs in the coming week(s) so we can continue to enjoy it.

Missing out on the first war is a small bummer but there will be plenty of more wars so it's really a small inconvenience. Some of you need to get a grip here a bit with these over the top superlative "worst roll outs ever" type statements.

Personally I would prefer the people with knowledge of the problems spend time fixing the problems rather than posting on the forums to make people feel better.

But that's just me.

After all it has been ONE DAY since the update was released. Maybe the community can have a little patience?

I am able to chat .... and log in .... but when i scout, nothing happens. Anyone else?

This only happens with certain player bases...some i can scout. others it kind of freezes. Once i have tried to scout a base that delivers this experience, i am unable to scout bases that were previously okay until i restart my app...seems strange...

Just for your knowldege.....Unfortunately what the mod assumed cant be completely accurate. One of the people in my clan that is showing the 0/0 clan castle on the map, low th level and no war sheild is the leader. He's the one who started the war. It can't be that he updated after the war was started. Infact I'm showing a war shield and I did update after the search started. However by the time the match occurred i think I had the update.

Just wanted to let you know since that message isn't the case for my clan. It sounds like several other clans have their leaders (who initiated the war) in the same position.
