I'm sure these suggestions are buried in the many pages of this thread, but I'll reiterate.

    • Some means by which to dispose of War Clan Castle troops that have been donated
    • Ability to create, and then "Save" a war base at any point during the Preparation day
    • Reduction in the cooldown for Clan Mail, we co-leaders are trying to herd cats here, and that mail is the easiest way to reach all clan members

Question on war loot / bonuses

Some of our enemies clearly have higher filled storages than some of the others...is there any benefit to attacking those with more loot or is the bonus the same regardless of their loot level?

Not sure why I haven't received the Gem box, is it bugged or something?

Gem boxes are a somewhat random spawn. They are not guaranteed.
Does SC remove every inactive village? Read this thread.

We had none of that in my clan. Our leaders sent out messages hours ahead of time telling people to NOT donate a thing until told to do so, they sent even more messages after war was declared reminding people to NOT donate. Then we started talking strategy and deciding on who will attack who and what people wanted in their CC for defense. Then we started cooking and donating.

With number 2 as many have said, and SC has acknowledged, a way to save bases to easily swap between or set one to be the war base needs to be implemented. Hopefully, SC can make that happen sooner than later.
That might work for the most hardcore (biggest lo*ers) clans but for most other casual clans that can't spend 8 straight hours of real life on a tablet its just not practical. We had multiple messages sent out as well but some bodies little brother steals an iPad for 5 min and boom wbs galore. Maybe not a filter or cc dump but at the least a report for who donated what is sorely needed (which has been requested for months in our regular village too its nice to know who gave you the drag or pekka while u weren't loking)

I wish I could give good feedback on clan wars but I'm in a clan that got f'ed real hard.

    1. Our clan has 30 members but only 11 are able to receive troops for war. All 30 are on the war map and they almost all have an incorrect townhall.

    2. The clan we are fighting somehow got out of this unscathed. They were all able to receive donations and seem unaffected.

    3. I wish there was a forfeit button at this point. I would take a hit just to get rid of this garbage war and try another.

We did the same, sending out messages, but not everyone listens. And we have a great clan with almost 100% great players but it only takes one bad apple, and its not always apparent who that is.

While I'm not suggesting that we implement #1, I dont see why youre against it. I dont find your reason very valid as there isnt a good way for leaders to 'control' their clan at present. Sure you can say dont donate, but that doesnt prevent that bad apple from doing so. My main issue with the current system is that i have no idea who donated goblins to someone, and thus have no way of enforcing our rules. Those goblins go out, i say stop, and nothing comes of it. That player might like trolling us, i have no idea. We have random players in our clan that some of us dont know in person, and I would have to guess that 90% of clans are not static, meaning new players are coming and going as we try to find our way to a static 50 solid players. In our case, all of our top players got amazing troops right away, but as we built more for the lower players, a few people screwed up some of the lower bases donations.

So good for you, you have a 100% solid clan, but i feel like i can speak for most of the non-forum users, and many of the forums users alike, when i say that anything that will simplify clan coordination and individual player satisfaction should get a thumbs up. This would accomplish both of those as previously uncoordinated clans would have a system in place to 'force' coordination, and nobody gets troops they dont want. Most of us don't have our clans nailed down all the way as you seem to. It's a long and arduous process in some case...

    ---

Ok, with all of that said, i do have an intermediate solution to this issue that even you might like as it doesn't ruin the advantage you seem to want to hold on to because you are coordinated. Namely, when i look at an ally war base and see goblins in it, add a button that lets me view who gave which troops. At least this way the leaders can easily discern those bad apples and reprimand or kick them. Or, as many others have suggested, let us dump our war base troops.
