It could have easily started on android then moved to iOS.... the iOS vs andriod stuff is just silly at this point. The android phones are much more widespread than apple, by a significant margin. Android phones are technically superior at this point. Apple moved first but they haven't kept up with the android juggernaut.

Further evidenced by this iOS app store failure today.

The update would not be able to come out on android first because if SC update their servers, people on iOS will not be able to play CoC at all until update because it would always say Client and Server out of Sync. This wuold cause a lot of threats against SC being "racist"

Since I have some time while waiting for the update, I will weigh in on the Apple vs. iOS argument. I'm not taking a side, nor do I think it matters "which one is better." If you're happy with your device and/or platform, then that's all that matters and there is literally no point in arguing about which one is better.

The main reason for my post is to talk to a majority of the people on the forums. If you're trying to make an argument and you can't present yourself as a reasonably intelligent person, I know I (and probably many others) will ignore what you're saying. When you can't spell simple words correctly and you don't know the difference between words like there and their, that pretty much discredits your general knowledge, which also discredits whatever point you're trying to make.

Obviously, if you're not trying to make a point (i.e. not arguing), then the issues above don't really matter...
