    I had this attitude with my heroes...

    Keep them alive for clan wars... until I realised they will have to be down for clan wars most of the time anyway.

    First clan wars... heroless.

    I don't think so… I heard that if you upgraded your heroes or defenses or buildings before or during a clan war when the other player attacks you the levels reset, and the upgrades cancel for the war..
    For example if I'm upgrading my queen to 30, during a clan war she will be level 29 as she was before the upgrade..
