Private chat
I would love a private chat for both global and clan. Especially when you are debating on to i kick a co but if he sees you talking he kicks all the elders. And also on global if you want to talk to some one to join you're clan but you don't want to attract hoppers. This would be a really nice addition to help clan management.

just deal with hoppers, we all did. as for the separate chat. just get an app like kik, or get peoples numbers. i have the phone numbers of about 30 people in my clan

I for one would like this. just to talk to individual people about stuff that doesn't take up clan chat and others.
Sorry, but this idea was ruled out. The reason that SC didn't accept the idea is because of chances of having relations to privacy issues. Thanks!
Yah. Or maybe use other types of communications such as, make a group in Facebook, or be friends also so you can send a pm. Use kik. This is clash of clans, not skype
