Spent $40 in late August for builders , don't ever plan on spending anything more ..
I can go from 1500 to 0 ,back to 1500 trophies in 2 days,whenever I feel like it ....
Oh,and I am merely average when it comes to strategy
You don't ever have to spend a dime on this game to get a lot out of it .
It just takes patience ...
If you don't have patience , you can spend a fortune on gems , just don't confuse your trophy level for skill, as they were artificially gained
How many builders do you have? I'm guessing 4 (because that's how many I have), but I was just wondering. I have spent $30 for builders and then around $35 more just to get enough resources for upgrades that cost a lot(my definition of a lot is 1M) and today when I upgraded my TH to level 7.

Spent 30 AUD on builders.
I've spent $34.48 australian dollars, and $9.99 american dollars on this game.
The initial $34.48 was spent to get my third and fourth builder's hut.
The remaining $9.99 i spent was money i won in a competition run by my clan, so i spent it on gems, to help me with future competitions.

$60 - Used the gems stupidly starting off, spent a spare $20 I had to "refil" my gems. Then once I got the hang of how things all worked I spent $20 for builders, was at 4/5 of them - then spent another $20 so I could max out the builders, and I still have plenty of gems leftover from that purchase.
