Great ideas, but I think they could ruin the nature of the game. First of all, things would take to short to upgrade, the game would go to fast and those who upgraded things for the full time might be mad that now other people do it in less the time.
Also, SC might lose profits because people wouldnt gem the whole thing but just boost it.
