Anything material that could possibly do you good in any seemingly unseen away should always prioritize over coc. Real life duties first, coc duties later.
    Thanks icey for the sig!

But how can these material things be important and real when what we see isn't even real?

Coc has taught me many things, like social skills, and leadership skills, even through a game you can apply it in real life. Non the less, it has entertained me more then any tv show or book could.

I think this is a bit of a dumb thread but useful for those who don't know how to separate their time.

I started CoC because of my friends, (I'm still in my starting years of teen) now all those who started with me left and I invited my crush and others into the game. I still aced my exams and have time to get on CoC.
My point of view is to separate your time equally, study and play games and spend time with the family and friends but don't let any of them cross over each other.
Eg. Thinking of CoC when studying and next minute your online raiding.

What will your Lego walls mean in five years?

What will your prestige level in CoD mean in five years Video games and such things are meant for enjoyment in the "now" not in the future Doesn't matter what game you play. It will take up your down time and is a fun hobby

    You mean....

Nah, CoC is addictive and everyone should be aware of how much they play/if how much they play can hurt them in someway. Don't let it get over your life. Srs.

Entertainment is good. Life skills is good. Losing access to other life skills is not good. Ahh and an interesting fact- Playing on iPods and other devices basically kill the little chemicals that help you go to sleep. Ik that i lie awake for 30-60 minutes after playing coc before bed. I suggest not going on any devices within half an hour of trying to go to sleep.
    Thanks icey for the sig!

That's fine that you say that but what if someone has no family or friends or what if you can really make a living off this game if someone can make a damn living off of selling art made out of old beer cans pretty sure there's something to be earned off of this.... People who try and tell other people what to do are just fools so what people play a few hours or even all day if they want to it's their choice lol who are you to pass judgment on anyone I myself play all day at work (I run CNC's ) it's really easy just put a part in load program then I get home and spend the rest of my night with girlfriend and kids but I play hours everyday because I'm bored at work are you a perfect person do you do everything selflessly ? Do you use all your money to buy your family or friends thing? Or do you spend it on something else really really dislike people like you...

I never judged any1. I think you should reread the thread a few times. If people have no family or friends they need to stop being depressed and try and get some. Be adventurous. I don't do everything selflessly. I am just as flawless as everyone else (or rather not at all flawless). I share. I try to be generous which comes hard as it isn't exactly something I was born with. Don't think of me as some1 accusing, which I am not. Think of me a some1 enlightening you all.

The funny part about philosophy is that there is no truth. The only truth that is relevant is the one you believe. In theory nothing matters. It's all been done. It has all been said and there is no point to do anything. Realistically, it can't ruin your life, if you don't like or enjoy life. Do what you enjoy and everything is fine. Telling people they play too much is only relevant to you and no one else. Just like telling people they shouldn't spend money on it. People may struggle with money, but that isn't their life or problem. There is no right answer to anything. Welcome to philosophy!!!!!$!
