    This is the exact same problem i'm facing now... but until an update comes with some changes to the AI of WB, you will need to use the above mentioned solution.

    This is supposed to be an update in an attempt to make them better, anyways im thinking that's why there is this feedback thread here.

    Lets hope the Developers are reading this.

    I am having the same problem with what people are talking about before me, the wall breakers are much more unpredictable then before and create many unnecessary openings. I watched the video about the new wall breakers, and i understand how the wall breakers generally work. But even after many 20-30 attacks, I am still having problems with positioning my wall breakers and getting them where I want them to be.
    This is supposed to be a upgrade for wall breakers, making the wall breakers require more housing space, which indicates less wallbreakers in the army composition. However, I am finding myself using more wallbreakers then before the update.

    read it already, but it was a funnel base so buildings were on the corner of each funnel... I DONT WANT THE WBS TO GO RUNNING OFF in the other direction!

    New wbs suck big time.. By Clearing the content behind first layer of the walls means HALF of our tanker like giants and backup troops like archers will have been killed by the defense behind those walls..

    wall breaker issues

    totally agree with the username KeWaCoC , that is what always happens to me every battle, and that frustrates me because i know in the older wall breakers they go straight through rows after rows of walls please do something about this...

    Does anyone know why WBs continue to widen the gap at the first layer walls? Happen to me 4-5 times now.

    As you can see, I usually bring around 10-12 wallbreakers with me and I deployed two of them per set. The first set dig the hole on the first layer but then the 2nd set and 3rd set go to left and right and widen the gap on the first wall layer. There is no comparment there to attract the following sets. The 4th set still widen the gap even more and finally Finally, I can get to the second layer with my 5th set.

    Well, does it mean now we have force to take all building at the first layer in order to reach the second one (even if there is no nearer compartment)? That's plain stupid. No problem for weak base but imagine there are lv7 mortars and xbows (lv1-3) behind the second layer wall. Those things will kill your troops if you dont reach second layer fast enough. (Im Townhall 9 and now with the new update I can get 100% root only from TH 9 with usually have 2 xbows behind the 2nd or 3rd layer walls. BTW, Im not premature TH9.)


    Sincerely, I hate new WB. I have to use them more than ever before and they also take 2 spaces now. Doesnt mean that I didnt try to learn and use them. I understand the concept and basic of their AI now but the problem above still happen. (Which according to their AI, they shouldn't do that)

    Also, with new AI we have to destroy any nearer single useless compartment before we can go for the 2nd layer or even worse the 3rd layer. That's almost impossible to reach the deep side of the base with really strong defense (LV 70-80+) before your troops were killed.


    New WB AI does a lot better against some types of bases but do worse against another certain types of bases. The increasing splash radious is great for offense, bad for defense but I generally think the AI of WB is worse and it take 2 space camps now.
