Question: how are you even defining top 20? Trophies are pointless in farming clans and level is as screwed up as anything, so what else is there? All of this just seems completely arbitrary to me.

Gotcha. I guess this could be considered a "less bad" type of comparison system, but I do wish they had something that could really make this easier. Oh well.

Hmm, well, here's my thoughts.

1) I'd love a comparison on farming, but I don't think it will happen, as this game was designed on trophies, for good or worse. And, "farming" as a concept is controversial enough to the general public (not so with the forum regulars, as it's heavy on farmers), that I doubt SC will implement such.

2) Using the Achievement award does not make sense to me, as most farmers have farmed that amount a long, long time ago. Lol, I forgot about that achievement altogether lol, to be honest. It's just for newer players.

And the amount you farmed was capped. If it was never capped, it could be interesting to chat about. The DE achievement, however, is newer, and I had posted a bragging thread on it, and Hannibal won it. Some other fella claimed he had raided more, but didn't post a pic to back it.

I'm close now to what he had back then, but the thread decayed. You could compare farming skills on that new achievement, but eventually, we'll all 3-star it, and with the cap, it will decay away. Again, unless the amount raided is NOT capped.

3) If you wanted to truly capture farming amounts, as a clan, it should probably resemble the weekly Trophy system contest. That was well-designed for what it is trying to do. It captures TIME, the weekly reset. So, farming amounts would be a race against some clock. It captures a weighting system of various clan members, and has a total amount, that the entire clan could work towards. There are warring-games out there, in which clans work towards a competitive pot of money, that clans war against. But, as we all know, this game doesn't have either the clan war concept, or a competitive pot concept.


Anyways again, I don't think SC will (nor should) have such a farming-comparison system implemented. We have enough of a problem with the mine-is-bigger-than-yours here.

Outside of that, the only current in-game system bragging-comparison I can see is the DE achievement as most have not 3-starred it yet. And with the new troops, DE should become more important. Anyways, again until we all hit the 3-star cap and it decays in importance like the old gold/elix achievement.

Farming4Gold is obviously one of the best. Very well organized. Website, good clan leader..Thats my vote
