As a level 94, in a level 90+ clan, when we engage in clan wars, the only way to defeat other advanced bases will be using expensive troops, hogs, dragons, pekkas etc. so basically the clan wars is another way to make us have less resources.

Does it matter anyway? You d be using the troops anyway, not to mention you can still beat high level bases with a simple ballon and minion, or even a barch... so yeah.

There is a loot bonus for winning... But if thats not enough, If you dont want to spend the elixir on the troops, dont participate.

Nobody is forcing you to participate in CW.

Your clan will force you. They could have done this a lot better. And have fun spending hundreds of thousands of elixir on troops, and get 450K back.
