Seeing as how the forums and social media are both incredibly active....I'd say they did their job pretty well.

It's not difficult to get the social media active. A status update like "i love almonds" gets 500 likes within 20 minutes and gets shared.

As for the forums, i don't see an increase in number of online forumers compared to the previous updates. It doesn't even come close to the record number of forumers online.

PR is all about maintaining a good relationship with the public. I don't think they succeeded there.

I don't personally mind all of the pranks, but people have seriously lowered their standards if they found any of this funny. Like I said earlier, maybe a smile and a chuckle, but it didn't really deserve more than that.

I agree on the CC holding many ressources in the future. It will change farming and base designs or sure.
No idea still whether any clan wars will be in the game and how exactly.

On the other hand :
I am still hoping that there will be a Clown Wars App, that allows COC players to attack HayDay bases.
But that is just me, thinking wishfully.

99% sure clown wars is an April fools joke which is suppose to build hype for clan wars

Companies spend millions to get "involvement" on social media, not just empty likes. From that point of view this has been a complete success. For anyone with a reasonable sense of humor and reality today has been hilarious, and given us something to look forward to.

Think about it. The only reason this was even funny in the first place was because of the ♥♥♥♥♥ing of moaning of these kids for the last few months. The only thing that would make it even better is if clan wars wasn't announced tomorrow. The people who are upset are creating their own drama, for no apparent reason.

Expectations are the death of fun. Relax, expect nothing, and maybe you will be pleasantly surprised (and entertained).
