Ok, so let's start by myself saying to try to not flame this thread out, if it gains enough attention.
Now that's out of the way, check out these two pictures.
These pictures are screenshots of "leaked" content that was on Youtube.
Now, this is very confusing, but myself, among a few clanmates, think we ''may" have figured out what could possibly be in the newest update.
Ok, if you take a look at the first picture, it appears that the loot cap has changed from 8 million to 11 million. (Props to Phamily Shucks for spotting this)
Pham told me that a lot of people have being saying for this update, to get your cup bases ready. Everyone assumed clan wars, but we have something possibly bigger in mind. Here is our idea, quite confusing, nowhere near refined, but try to follow
Ok, so basically, we are predicting clan wars. But, clan wars has a twist. We think the reason the loot cap has increased to 11 million, is for one of two reasons:
1) The town hall now holds 3,000,1000 gold and 3,000,1000 elixir. Dark elixir is not affected in anyway. This could be because clan wars will happen, but as an added incentive to protect your town hall, it now stores a large amount of resources. (Or 20%) We think this could also happen outside of clan wars, however, you could counter that argument by saying it is ridiculous that the town hall can hold that many resources, as if you take it out, you could steal possibly 200k of each.
2) In the second image, you may notice the clan castle has what appears to be an elixir, a gold, and a dark elixir storage on top. I think personally, that if the loot cap was increased to 11 million, the clan castle clan hold 1.5 million resources, and the town hall vice versa. Not sure why this would matter, perhaps as an incentive to have your clan castle AND town hall centralised?
We could of course, be wrong, and overlooking things.
As I was finishing this post, I saw a notification on my iPad from DTP's communication app, GroupMe. Chum, just said that the CC and town hall could hold more resources, as a win bonus if you were in a clan war? I then had a thought, that perhaps out of clan wars, SC could eliminate loot bonuses, and the CC and TH bonus could be the new loot bonus? This would make sense, at least to me, as people have been asking for town hall based league bonuses ever since leagues were released.
