It is very simple, but tedious. TH snipe/barch to 1500 and you will start seeing DE. The 1600s are full of th 8,9 and 10s and they tend to put their drills outside or one lvl in. Learn what drill lvls look like and next as much as necessary to find full lvl 4 or up drills. I got bk lvl5 and minions/hogs both to lvl 2 in the last two weeks this way. Don't lightning unless you have all three and they have at least 1500 (in the storage, not total).
im th7, get to crystal and then zapp those high lv th 9-10 with 3 lighting every 1.5 hour making about 10k a day

Try using all archers going up to crystal picking off town halls and FullDE pumps
Just use lightning spells it is very effective. Look for 2k+

I got mine after 3 days of dark elixir farming when I was in Town Hall 7. But that is hard work and it took 72 hours.
I got my barbarian king level 5 at town hall 7 in crystal league, take three lightning spells in a attack level 3+ once you find a town hall snipe make sure there is good dark elixir and check for a full dark drill attack that if possible
I will have a Th 7 in just over a day. I just sniped my way up to Crystal for my fourth builder. I have 4 star lighting but only 2 spell spots. I was hoping to not get revenged as much and zap people that attacked me but that plan seems to have gone out the window since I am getting revenged all the time now. Should I try to stick around crystal and zap when I get to th 7? I do see a bunch of de around here but I can't do much other than zap since I'm so low.
Definitely stick around if you can survive the revenges! The revenges are nasty at first because you just pushed up in trophy count but they mallow out after awhile from hanging around in Crystal so the revengers are often very near your trophy level after a couple days from my experience (and even the 3 stars turn more into 30+ instead of 40+ or 50+). The longer you hang around in a league, the more revenge opportunities you will probably get too but realize there won't be a lot of viable ones since many attackers will be from well defended TH 9 and 10s.

One Crystal area for TH 7 farming I like is Crystal 2. Push to 2200 to get the league bonus and then keep in the high 2100s or higher sniping until you see a fat collector/DE drill raid and then go for it (take the loss and all the collector loot unless the TH is somehow outside since you have some trophy padding).
I was farming down to the 2130 range or so but then pushed up before logging off so I had about 50+ trophies for protection the first few days(2155 or more). The absolute worst revenges are 59 trophies so keep that in mind before logging off especially if you just pushed up (have 2159 or more trophy count to make sure you don't lose the league bonus first few days).
Have fun getting the BK up and running! He'll be upgrading in no time. The minions are great as a flying troop too for certain situations. I pack a few of them every raid.

get to crystal..snipe th..light up de storage.. tats easy way...
hard way...beat the bases ..which is impossible from a th7..
go to sub 200 . .lot of inactive bases...hit its de collectors..have fun.
