Question about storages?

I guess my question about them is this...I am currently maxing all my storages, I farm roughly 6-8 million gold and elixir a day, am level 62, does the capacity of the storages effect how much others can steal from you? OR is it simply based on what you have that they get a % of?

it adds more space for you and a little more can be stolen because of the extra space, Yet it is also divided into more storages so it is safer..

err, yes, storage capacity can affect how much loot you have available to steal
