Farming range for early TH9

Hey guys!

My TH9 upgrade finished a few days ago. My x bows are under construction as well as a few other things.

As a TH8, I used to farm around 1300 trophies - however, silver 1 seems to not be a sweet spot any more. Over the past few days, I have been going up and down through gold 3, but the loot is, for some reason, even worse than at 1300 (mostly just 24'000 raids).

Even though I have not seen any good loot, I seem to be the perfect target for TH10 players, who happily roll over my base. I don't know what they are doing down here, their loot at ~1450 must be worse than mine, or I am just very unlucky.

So here comes my question: Where is a good range for early/mid level TH9s to farm? I have read a few threads where people said that master 3 to crystal 3 is a pretty good range, but they were surely talking about an established TH9 with level 6 troops, etc., or were they not?

Edit: I should probably add that I am looking for a range I can use Barch or BAM in.

As a new TH 9, you probably still have TH 8 troops. Your gonna need to farm on TH 8's and other undeveloped TH 9's. Most TH 8's thin out over 2100. You should do well in gold 1 or crystal 3. The attack win bonus is better in crystal 3. I have TH9 that's getting close to having everything maxxed and have stayed in crystal league since getting TH9.
lol, not sure who that was saying master 3 in good place for TH9's, but I have a VERY hard time FINDING TH9's to raid above 2450.

I've been lurking around there for a bit now, all I can find are TH7 players though. Attacking them is very rarely worth it though.

As a new TH 9, you probably still have TH 8 troops. Your gonna need to farm on TH 8's and other undeveloped TH 9's. Most TH 8's thin out over 2100. You should do well in gold 1 or crystal 3.
