Ok thats just dumb.... I once got 901 dark elixer from a storage, and that was with only two spells because I was being dumb and dropped one on the elixer storage on accident. Push to gold 3 or even better 2, and lightning storages with 1k+ you will get 500 every time.

daclanman is right... you can get good amount using lightning... elixir is overflowed all the time better make spells but there are other ways to get it ... fight for it (http://youtu.be/ybP_XxZiYTg) .. I did it when th7. You have that choice always.

Like I said it is easy for dark hungry town hall 7's to get to gold two and leave you some nasty burn marks so push higher.

lol... sure. Is Crystal-3 safe you are not planning to get there?? You get 3000 de loot from storage zapping gets u a lot with higher lvl lightning spell.

Personally at Th9 and Th10, if you are using your spells to strike DE storages - your totally wasting a spell that could get you much more if you'd just attack that storage directly

The solution for this is let SC create a "Stealth Spell" where you can choose what buildings you will hide. Of course this stealth spell have a duration its should not be forever there. So its a little tricky now where you will put your DE Storage.

The best thing you can do is before logging off queue up your dark barracks full with the most expensive dark troop.

This way you can hide some of your DE from getting taken.

This is about all you can do to minimize DE loss.

I keep forgetting this but it seems to be a very wise way to stash it.

It doesn't help too much when you're sitting on a ton, say 50k+ plus DE, but every little bit helps.

Just make sure to remove the DE troops from the queue when logging back in, or you will have an army full of DE troops.
