I have a few questions about farming with Town Hall 9.
- What is the best trophy range for the biggest loot?
- What are the most important things to be upgrades first (Mortar, Heroes, Lab, Troops, Barracks, Walls, etc.?)
- Any bases that work very well?
- How to get dark elixr the fastest?

I'm not TH9, but when I do, I will upgrade my lab and army camps first. As for trophies, I do not know.
Edit: DE should be good at 1900+ there, you should find abandoned de bases.

I have been farming at 1600 and the loot is pretty good.
Most important upgrades are splash defenses and xbows.
To get fast dark elixir go to ~1900 trophies.
I came into th9 will full collectors and did two xbows right off. It's likely not the wisest move but that's what we all see when we see a TH9 so I had to have them.
I also started upgrade on Lab and then right into your most used troop. I did Barbs because you can't do archers right off, you have to upgrade your Lix storages to get there.
Your biggest advantage as TH9 is your increase in attacking so get on those army camps pronto. Many will tell you to get your spell factory up but I've never used spells much and one thing you don't want to do at early TH9 is use up too much elixir on spells.
It's very strange to have elixir to throw all over and to suddenly have to look for it.
I did all my walls quickly so I didn't look like a new TH9 and put out new defenses and have been working on upgrading them (many are less than a day). You will also want to be upgrading your collectors so you even out your resources for attackers. With 4 of each you can do a nice diamond distribution in your base to limit what attackers can get.
I'm obviously a farmer so none of this would make sense to a trophy hunter.
