Hello!

I'm still a Town Hall 7 and building my dark barracks Finally, been waiting for it for ages. So i would like to know good leagues/tactics and army compositions to help me farm dark elixir needed for dem hogs.

PS. Please dont say zap it, im aint spending 75k elixir gaining some DE

The best way to get de (at th7) - lightning attacks or dragons with rage spells (too expensive and boring). The other way (though it's kinda ordinary) - "barching" against inactive bases at 1600-1800 cups (vs drills of course).

Tactics ? When I was TH 7 I used giant-healers combo. The league was gold 3.

Of all of the suggestions so far, this one would be a winner for me I think.

Though it goes against the "max it first" philosophy, you may want to consider farming for DE at TH8. Much stronger troops and when you think about it, TH's 8-10 are really the only ones with substantial DE. Kinda hard to farm them with lvl 4 troops. You need 140k DE combined to max hogs, and I think you should just start that journey later in your CoC lifespan.

Hey there! So Trent was right, I highly recommend you to upgrade all buildings and troops until you need to upgrade your Town Hall. For instance, it's a bit hard thing but you can make it (I know you can) because all players have their own tactics but this one is the most common and important thing in reorganizing your village. Don't be so excited for another Archer Tower, Storages, and of course the Dark Elixir Drill. Barbarian King aren't really that effective if they are at level 1. They can be at level 5 so please listen to this tactic, I did this and worked great! Don't forget to keep your wizards near storages so that Goblins won't suck it all (LOL) Good luck and Clash On!

snipe your way until Crystal... go on with sniping to get the league bonuses... takes times... but sometimes you fell on full drill with exposed th...

make your way like this... i did it early th7 (got my BK to lvl3) and so far, ( i went to sub200 for walls) now im climbing my way up again to go farm those league bonuses... but it takes long times and dedication... but at least, from there you can just look up for exposed full drill and by doing this... at GIII you can start again to climb up a little (until gold one or even start over up to Crystal 2 and redo)...

Yes, but there are consequences too, alot more difficult raiders and they'll keep getting your loot. So go ahead, rise to 1600 cups and then farm. Then upgrade the troops or buildings you need to.

When i was farming for dark elixir i got the barb king within 5 days by farming up in gold III, you will slowly and surely build up the dark elixir till you finally get the barb king. It was very exiting for me to raid for dark elixir and finally buy the barb king. While it is easier to just wait till town hall 8, i would suggest going for it now. Its a challenge that I'm sure you can overcome. Go for it and have fun!

this is good advice if you really want de, but id say de troops r the least of ur worries, max them last and focus on your defenses and normal troops. Food luck maxing th7!!!
