Freeze Spell Question

So I am chain upgrading my freeze spell and my question is simple.


I am Ballooning and am aiming to get back into Masters III soon. At what point is a freeze spell more useful to bring along than a lightening spell? (or two)

Ive never used ballonions but I would say lightening spells would be more useful to shoot down the air defense rather then freezing it since the seconds go by so quick and the balloons are slow.

I use rage. I'd use the freeze on CC troops and infernos.


I figure timing the freeze over some defenses, with minions close behind.
