Should i keep a builder free for walls?

I'm TH8 with 45 lvl 7 walls and i plan on having all level 7 with some level 8 before upgrading to TH9.. I have all my cannons, mortars, wizzies to max and all archer towers at lvl 9 and teslas lvl 3
i'm going to max out all my defenses first before upgrading TH but is it worth it to keep a free builder for walls since its going to take longer to max defenses? Thanks

Well how many builders do you even have? If you have four then you can do all three teslas and pour your excess gold into walls during their long upgrade time. This way by the time your teslas are all to 6 your walls should easily be to 7 or 8 if you know how to farm efficiently.

I have 4 builders, i'm not only focusing on teslas i'm also focusing on archer towers

I personally always do Archer Towers last. I think doing the teslas first would benefit you later but that's just my silly opinion

I keep a builder free for walls.

I like to keep 1 builder free, until one of my other upgrades will finish soon. If I am 6-8 hours away from a free builder, I put the extra to work before I go to bed. Then when I wake up, I still have one free, and I got a jump on the next upgrade.

Definitely, having that free builder is more then enough to plough your way through.

As you're Th8 you have less reliance on builders, as you reach Th9 it is ideal to keep lots of builders going which is why I recommend you to max out skulls.. So you have less hassle when your a newly Th9

The upgrades take lots longer. If you try to always keep one builder free, it will take you 33% longer to max out. The free builder strategy is good for near the end of upgrades for a TH level.
