Lately i've been thinking about a few things supercell can do to spice up Clash of Clans and I believe that I have some decent ideas. Supercell does a great job listening to the community and id like to thank the, for doing so. alrighty, enough with the chit-chat so here it goes. Ill list an idea and a reason to follow for each.
Base selection tool (3x)
- I often find myself going in and out of farming for whatever reason and its time consuming re-arranging bases to and from them(even with the base editor update). the simplicity of my idea is great, a player can create 3 bases and can select one as they please from a tab, instead of having to rearrange it over and over. its so hard to memorize a base that works so well on a push, but when you need to farm, everything changes. I may be very vague in explaining this idea but I assume you understand the point im trying to get at. Having 3 selections available could be unlockable content that would be purchased with gems after unlocked at a level of experience or town hall level. this would make the game way more convenient, because some players may not have the 30-45 minutes it takes to rearrange and create.

Village Attacking modifications
-it isnt a rare occurrence to be distracted or disrupted from playing clash of clans. I may be on the couch, at work, or even at school and something IRL would stop me from playing the game (i.e mother calls for help, boss needs me right away, important lesson etc). also, some in real life situations could even be dangerous. what if someone was to get seriously injured or anything was to stop them from playing the game while they are searching for a village to attack *knock on wood*. the idea i would like to implement would be: while searching for a base, the shield that i may obtain would not deactivate until i set a troop upon a village. many times ive deactivated my shield, began to look for a village to attack, and then have been forced to stop playing due to in real life circumstances. again, this may be vague so ill simplify it for the readers as this idea was in place presently: press attack>find a match (shield would not be disabled here)> I find a suitable village to attack> my village's shield does not disactivate until I summon my first troop onto the enemy's base. hopefully most of you will be able to understand that.
no, would be unfair etc ruins the whole point of the shield
Builder levels
the ability to level up builders to decrease the building time of a unit. this could be purchased with any source (gems, gold, Elixer, DE). there shouldnt need to be much explaining here for this idea. maybe even devoting 2 builders to one unit for the time to go by faster. high level players would surely appreciate this.
Ruled out, please read the sticky
Gem Investments
at any level of the game, it takes a considerably long time to upgrade anything. for example, on my town hall 9 base, max teslas are 14 days. there should be an opportunity to invest gems into the upgrade. for example, to gem the time of the tesla, i would estimate it would be around 1500 gems at the time of the purchase of the upgrade. instead of waiting to the last day of the upgrade to spend 200 gems for an instant finish (approximately), what if at any time of an upgrade, gems were able to subtract time from an upgrade. this is a convenient way to assist those with lower amount of gems, but still would have the same mathematical value at any time. there should be a Gem=amount of time formula. with this, players would be able to subtract any amount of time from the upgrade time with the purchase of gems. example: i have 10 days on an upgrade, i spend 200 gems the day i initiate the upgrade, the upgrade is shortened by 24hrs.
maybe,
troop skins
having the ability to customize the troops you use and their appearance (much like the red dot sights in call of duty). example: changing the color of the wizard's attack at a purchase of gems/gold/etc. personally this idea seems more interesting than letting the level of the troop decide its outward appearance (obviously skins would be unlocked at different and higher levels, also maybe after the completion of an achievement.
No, There's no point for this.
this is my first post in the forum so i apologize for any grammatical errors or the clarity of my message. Also, im sure other people have probably thought of these ideas before, and i didn't research much before this in the forums, so please no rude hate about me stealing ideas; we are all here with a common purpose to improve the game. thanks all, Cheers.
