What are you talking about? Aren't you glad you get some more uses for de? I can't wait to get these new troops ... I just want to figure out what to upgrade before the announcement is made. I think I'll do a drill but I also feel like I should be saving elixir for the new barracks I'll have to build when the new update comes out.Originally Posted by conorbear1

to be honest though, valkyries are typically mounted and use spears and sometimes have wings:

Still, I can't really complain about the art since it's your guys decision and I'm happy for new units, but a spear wielding valkyrie would have been cooler!
If you didn't like the game, you'd be doing something better with your time then posting on the forums. I bet you right now you're waiting on troops to queue for your next attack.
On a completely unrelated note: dark elixir units are a fine idea, but they need to be very powerful to encourage people to ♥♥♥♥ th7 and go higher. There isn't enough dark elixir going around because so many people sit at th7 for months (well, since the penalty was put in) and can't pump it. If more people pumped and you could hope to get 250+ DE per "good" attack, then having DE units would be perfectly fine.
The root issue really is the penalty on TH levels -- it was a bandaid fix for a much larger issue that they need to work a better calculation rather then just a straight penalty. Realistically, you should always want to upgrade your TH level and if anything, make it longer to upgrade TH or raise the cost and remove the penalty. I also have an idea for a new matching system based on some math I learned years ago in college, but it would take a lengthy explanation with formulas that the devs may or may not read.
To be honest, this is the least excitement I have ever felt for an update. Hopefully, it proves me wrong.

So the Valkyrie does the same thing as barbs/barbking/pekka would do...smash everything in front of her. What would be the difference from the previous units then?

I know this is already requested n number of times, but I will say again, because it happens again and again - please fix the problem of Wizard Tower and Mortars non-firing because of xbow. Else, our time and gold spent on all these fancy upgrades is being robbed by gobs while xbow kills them one by one.
Problem increased with upgrading of xbow to lvl2. I wonder what lvl3 brings.
Hope you update fixes this issue first
In all honesty I think I would rather the update be a surprise next time. The waiting is killing me!
I was happy with the game and my life was fine, but now I suffering with the pain of the wait.
