lol, i'm slow.. just thought of this, most probably others have thought about it already.
de barracks make sense.
hardcore gemmers/trophy hunters already have max de with no place to spend on.
so if troops from de barrack requires de, top players wont hesistate to spend them.
however for low level players
if troops cost de, chances are, they wont produce those troops.
i'm so slow lol.
Hais, if thats the new usage of de, then whats the purpose of me saving my de lol.
I prefer to spend my de on something permanent like heroes, not troops.

No offense but that is really slow LOL.
If they are DE troops, i will treat them as seeking air mines. There's just no way to get a positive return on DE with those troops unless there's a significant influx of DE into the game.
I'm just hopping people attack me with those troops so that i can collect DE from their little tombstones.
That's fine, you can do that. i noticed some people saying they couldn't see the point of dex as unless you wanted heroes, there was nothing else to do with it (bar attack balloons).
now there is! SC have (potentially, update not out) given everyone an alternative use for it, much like normal lix. Good on them!

Actually i have not seen ppl complaining about the lack of usage for DE.
All i saw was ppl complaining about the low production rate and the difficulties of keeping it safe from lightning.
So, to prevent lightning on DE, store them as troops in your barracks when your army camps are full.
The new smart wall breakers r the dumbest thing to ever be introduced to this game, it takes away so much strategy with the walls, what's the point anymore?
The point is that any 3 year old can raid your base now. They are making the game more appealing to infants.
Kids don't wanna hear about strategies like funnelling, spawning radius, etc.
Wallbreakers break wall, boom, i get resources, yay! Time to drink some milk.
Yeah definitely a possibility. I'm 5k or so from getting the DE I need for an upgrade and I think I will just spend it on BK rather than wait for this update. If there is no need to spend a crazy amount of DE on a new barracks, I should be able to collect DEs enough to try out the troops by the time the update goes live. Assuming it's not tomorrow, or today, depending on which timezone you're at.
Dumbing down the game while opening more leaks to a resources which is seriously rare in the game, who would have seen that one coming.
