240 goblins?

Im trying it and in theory its great.. 24k elix army is easily reembursted... but does it work well in time as trophies drop, anyone do this?

It might work if all the loot is in the collectors and the collectors are outside the walls. Otherwise, mortars and wiz towers will wreck them.

It depends on the level of the goblins (I'm assuming your maxed out.) I always take 3 upgraded rage spells with me and a few upgraded wall breakers. If it looks like one the gobblins can get trophies from it, I got for it and use all my rage spells. Otherwise as the last poster said you'll have some trouble working around certain troops. In order to not fall too many trophies, and find myself in with people who have very little resources to raid, I'll do some goblin runs and then reconfigure my troops and do some regular attacks. That way you get both of what you want, decent elixir and keeping your trophy count up.
