th 8 farming attack

Hey everyone,

So I'm a new th 8 and I usually use the barch strategy for attacks. Lately I have been leaving a lot of loot behind and sometimes only coming up with maybe 125k. I go for collector raids of course but even then it is a challenge. So I'm asking you guys what strategy do you use for farming when you were a th 8.
Sorry forgot to say I'm mainly farming dark elixar. Trying to upgrade my minions.

I would suggest your trophy be of gold 3 to crystal 3! I feel that it is the best range to farm for me since there are loads of loot if you spend time finding them! A suggestion to the army you can use will be Loonions, BAM though those will use DE but, you will gain those DE back quite quickly so you don't have to worry about them! So good luck and clash on! As a th8 myself almost maxed when I want fast easy loot I drop to around the 1300s and farm collectors with bam. Don't settle for less than 200-250k each of gold and elixer....When there is de involved or exposed storaged I'll also make a point in taking out ad, wiz towers and Archer towers to make use of my minions.... I will usually only use my minions though if I make a profit on de in that particular raid. Since your a new th8 I would suggest this method.

When using a more expensive army as mentioned above with balloons and minions I will farm up in around 1600-1900 cups. You will get more de at a time but will only get to raid half as many raids as this army takes longer to cook.
