They can go to level 6 at TH8. They will take 40 days of builder time each to get from level 1 to level 6 so you had better get crackin'!

I have my cannons and mortars maxed. AD are still lvl3 and 4. Teslas are lvl1. I am maxing out my wizard towers now. My walls are lvl7 with maybe 20 skull walls. I wanted to know if I should max out my archer towers to lvl 10 first before going to th9 or are will I be okay I upgrade them later in TH9?

I would up your teslas by one and get your ADs up to 4-5s. Work on your walls then during your TH upgrade.

no need to max everything, its waste of time you can get get better fun and loot at TH9
because you have:
- AQ
- extra spells
- extra 20 army space
- strong Lv.6 Giants / Lv.6 Balloon

your defense will be better too, as th8 we get smacked everytime by those above troops....
as TH9 you will got 4th storage, people will have to almost 3 stars to get all your loot... and It will be not easy with farming troops because you will got extra 2 walls, 2 xbows, 1 WT, 1 AD, 1 AT.

Those are far more better stuff than maxing th8...

but if you goes up too early, you will ruinded it...
if you goes up too late, you will waste more
you need to max your farming army before you goes up,

I think you're right. Everyone would disagree with you that loot is better at th9 than th8. Rushing to th9 from 8 is surely less efficient unless you're sitting on gold. Not everyone finishes their lvl 8 walls in a couple days

I personally up to th6 maxed everthing except mines before going up.I moved to TH8 when my base was about 80% maxed( everything but walls , and mines)I am currently a little ahead of you in my th8 and yet I am not considering going up.I have to work on my teslas and in the lab on healer,minions,hogs, valkyries, and two spells..so maybe in 2 or 3 weeks I will start my TH9.

I am a town hall 8 myself and i also started to upgrade my townhall to lvl 9.Personally if you are farming at the gold 2 range and above.You dont really need to max walls or Hidden tesla,Most of your loots will be comin from th9 to th8.So there will not be a big diff.However if ur farming at gold 3 to silver 1.Maxing would certainly help.I myself left 40 skull walls and 3 Hidden tesla of lvl 5 left before maxing everything out for th8 but i choose to go for th9 as im currrently farming at gold 1.So there wont be a big impact of loots for me.Hopefully this helps.
