I have my cannons and mortars maxed. AD are still lvl3 and 4. Teslas are lvl1. I am maxing out my wizard towers now. My walls are lvl7 with maybe 20 skull walls. I wanted to know if I should max out my archer towers to lvl 10 first before going to th9 or are will I be okay I upgrade them later in TH9?
Focus on your AD, any combination of flying units and your base is finished.
Definitely max out everything. The the loot is better than TH9 so it will be easier

Believe me, max. I just got TH9 four days ago, had every single defense (including teslas) maxed, made defenses at TH9 that much easier. Still using my TH8 base cause I don't play enough to get my walls up, and xbows are still building since they take a week.
Four day old TH9!-Play around 30 minutes a day (Can't quit though)
Level 84-Around 140 skull walls

And you should do teslas soon because they are one of the best defences!
