The answer is yes. As a Th8 player I raided Th9 players all the time with Barch. I threw my BK in front, dropped my CC troops, a few rage spells and I could do pretty well. As a Th7 player I could raid Th9 bases with mass dragon and minions. True they needed some flaws in there defenses but have those X-bows didn't make them immune. And speaking of Th7, there was nothing a Th8 player could get with his first few defensive upgrades that would negate the fact he upgraded too early. Sure a fully upgraded Th8 was a steep challenge for a Th7, but a rich one could easily be taken out with 3 lightening spells 6 dragons and lots of minions at a profit.

    Anyway, just my thoughts
I think a TH7 can indeed destroy a TH8. Now.. A TH8 cannot destroy a TH9 except if he is using mass drags/things of the same kind. As farming goes I can 100% a maxed TH8 with barch (yep not a single wall breaker on lvl8 walls). Try to farm on my maxed TH9, please do.. You won't get a thing. Same thing goes for TH9 attacking TH10s.

But that's how its supposed to be. I mean... If I were to be a TH10 getting destroyed by a TH9 I'd be ♥♥♥♥♥♥. As I'd be if a TH8 got through more than 1 layer of walls in my base
    Max stuff

I seriously can't believe people keep saying this on this thread?! As a TH8 I very often 2* or 3* TH9 bases with army comps of healers/giants/wizards or even less. I find that xbows are not even that great against giants and other troops if a healer or two are on them.

So yes, TH8 can very often destroy a TH9 even if their defense is pretty advanced without the use of mass drags or loonions.

As for the OP. As a TH9 pushing right now I do find the IT ridiculous and virtually unstoppable if they are in the core but that is the way it is. I know I'll have the same advantage when I head up to TH9 myself so I just look forward to when it will be my turn to have them and let other worry about my defense!

    Interesting thread... Hi Triu!

Guys, I know Triu, and I can tell you, he isn't a hogger.

This is a convo that we've had before, in clan chat.

He is right... Completely nerfing healing is imbalanced. The heal nerf should start at 50% and increase progressively with level, and disco mode should start with three targets.

Sounds good to me. Though, I'd be fine with the heal thing IF healers (the unit) could still heal. I think ITs have basically made them useless

Maxed all my defenses before going to th10, its just one of those things you either work with or rush. Cup pushing is a pain, because you cant go offline, knowing someones gonna take you out with 30 hogs. Thanks for putting out there that you're scared to attack th10s, I'll be looking for your base . We've all had to find our wAy around this, you will too, or you'll get your th10 soon and start attacking th9s also.

If SC made infernoes target three at lvl 1 more people would GEM there IT'S to lvl 3 .. Base would probly get harder and farmers with lvl 1 & 2 ITS would be disappointed (myself included)

I think they should apply this concept to more buildings instead of just mindlessly increase their DPS and HP. Adding different Tier and abiliy to the defensive structures bring different element into the game and more depth to base design. That may also make people think twice before spending gold on their latest xbow instead of upgrading their wz tower for better abilities.

    um, wah?

    wahhhhh!!!!!

you know you can make pek/valk armies (2-3/6) and beat down a lot of th10s at th9...

maybe instead of crying you should try a different tactic than the mindless multi hog you love so much...

Premies pay a huge price in relation to the end game when they jump so far ahead to obtain "OP" infernos. I challenge anyone of you to show me a highly premie th 10 (lvl 6 walls, th7 defenses) who actually farmed his way to lvl9 walls and max defenses. So let those infernos be strong for them . It's the only way they stand a chance.

The biggest line in the sand that I see here is that some of you think you ought to be able to farm the cores and/ or two star a Th10 with th9 and lower tier one troops. Do you even realize how ridiculous that sounds? Premie or not it's just ridiculous.

For the ultimate endgame defense i actually think infernos may be underpowered. I believe they need to give them back the range they took away when multis were introduced. Guys it is supposed to be the ultimate defense and to be honest it isn't anything special in higher leagues.

The biggest mistake supercell ever did was giving th9 ers a troop that could two star well developed Th10 bases. So many Th9s out there feel entitled to 2-3 star Th10s now it's quite sad.

Another thing I don't understand is why you Th9ers are so hung up on taking down Th10s. Do what everyone else does and pick on fellow Th9s or Th8s if your farming.
FYI, i'm a th10. And apparently you haven't read my comments or understood my points properly.
