Crystal attack strategy help

Hi everyone,
My clan is pushing and I am sitting at 2000 trophies. My aim is to get to Masters. Thing is, I don't seem to be able to get higher than 2034 trophies. For example, I just lost 4 attacks in a row. 4!
So I am looking for a good army to get me (hopefully!) to Masters.
My elixir troops except the Pekka, which is lv2, are all maxed but my DE troops aren't. My minions are lv2 my hogs are lv2 and my valks and golems are both lv1.

To start off, build / copy a solid base. I'll post some examples later.

Attacking with balloons and minions

- Balloons and Minions would be the absolute best way, it takes around 45 minutes to make the troops, but they are really powerful. If I were you, I would gem those Minions to level 6 and start using the Balloon/Minion strategy.

If you want something cheaper, and faster...

.. then a mix of Giants, barbarians, archers and wall breakers would also be a good choice.

"gemming" is not exactly a strategy that should be recommended. You shouldn't have to pay your way to masters.

Though balloonions are a great trophy pushing strategy, both of those troops probably need to be maxed for TH9 (lvl 6 balloons and level 5 minions) for it to be effective as you get up to 2400+.

Up to 2300, many people have been able to simply use Barch. But again, that's level 6 barbs and archers.

That's up to each individual if he/she want to spend money. Sure, he doesn't have to gem, but if he is in the middle of pushing now - then he don't really have time to upgrade minions most likely. But anyways, farm level 6 minions or gem. I prefer gem.

Never seen a TH9 that couldn't pass 2034 trophies so I assume TH8. On our latest push, our TH8 went to 2500 trophies with giant/healer strategy. To get to master you would need those hogs but level 2 won't help.

I'm at 2430 trophies with my TH outside. Fell free to snipe me to get higher

Just wondering, should I even consider balloonion with level 4 balloons and level 3 minions? TH 8 also, at about 2250 trophies. I now regret putting off my balloon upgrade, but I've heard that they only become really good at level 6. Btw, I used a mix between BARCH, giant-healer, and every now and then, when I had just attacked a base for about 2000 DE, hogs.

P.S.: I am TH8

I am a TH9, but I have hit 2150ish trophies just by barching. It takes a few minutes to find a base, but it works. Maybe try balloonions or giant/wiz/healer. Both strategies work well.

Please can I have some more replies? I totally failed at balloonions.
My push ends in 3 days, so I really need an army to get to masters.
