(Project w/tips) Let's create a TH8 base that will reach master!

If you want 1 star, put your town hall outside and surround it with decorations.

Th10s will likely settle for the loot bonuses with 2 archers.

2) Everytime you logout, TH9 and TH10 bases that you attacked will revenge you immediately, and you can be certain that it wiil be 3-star more often than 2-star.

Just saying, in Crystal Two and Three, it's not as bad as you think, at least if you have a decent base. I'm currently up in Crystal Two, 2250 trophies (TH 8 btw) and have mostly been getting one- starred and occasionally two- starred or three- starred. TH 8's have pretty decent firepower, and can hold off better than you think, it's just that TH 9's and 10's have even more firepower, and so we have to combat against that.

Sorry for double post, but anyways I'd also recommend utilizing giant bombs, those things can completely mess up a raid used correctly. Double giant bombs somewhere would help too, I can't tell you how many times they've messed up a hog raid. Another thing I'd recommend is to try and make a deceiving base, that makes people think ,"Oh this is a piece of cake" and they start spamming a bunch of giants or tier 1 troops, and they hit a giant bomb that takes out a ♥♥♥♥ ton of troops or a few spring traps that take out most/all of their giants. Once this happens, they suddenly go into panic mode, thinking ,"Oh no, I've gotta save this raid and fast" and they make a bunch of mistakes and wrong decisions, and end up losing. You know, a base like that.

Most attacks will be revenge attacks, after a few minutes you went offline. Good luck in trying to defend against decent th9/10 players waiting for revenge.

It doesn't really matter how a Th8 designs its base, a three star is guaranteed above 2400 unless the town hall is outside.

I had a town hall 8 base that actually won above 2400.

I have a friend in a clan that hit 2600 (I think he has proof, too) during a push and he bought a week long shield. It got smashed frequently. Might be able to get a pic from him

Once you start getting to the 2400 range as a TH8, even with a superb design, it still cannot prevent a full on attack from a TH9 or 10. Want my suggestion? When you reach 2400 cups, just ut your TH outside so you can only get a maximum of -11 instead of getting 3 starred and you might get around -28. Plus, a 12 hour shield!
