    Thumbs Up

I remembered something I like to do. With certain bases, for example ones with the 2 xbow, CC, and DE core, there might be a side you don't want them to attack from, like the side with the DE. I always cram my base into the corner on the side with the DE, so it's harder to deploy on the DE side, or they might choose to attack from the opposite side. I like a lot of the things you added. A lot of them are things people never really talk about much.

May seem like a noob question, but when making a pushing base, where do you put wiz towers? For farming I know it is by the storages. So does that mean I should put my wiz towers by the town hall when pushing? Just asking as I need to be able to make a base for clan wars.

Common hard hitting armies that aim for 2-3 star wins are gowiwi, mass drags, hogs or loons.

Wizard towers are good against loons. When placing wizard towers in a trophy base, you want your "wizard tower - air defense - wizard tower" ring to be equally balanced in a circle this makes the strongest anti loon feature in your base. Be careful with the size of this ring. If it is too big, the defense do not cover each other and it makes the whole thing pointless. If the ring is too small, your perimeter is not protected by your anti air ring at all and it makes a perfect base for loon+minion sniping.

For the antihog part, there is no rule to put it anywhere if you are a TH10. If you are a TH9 though. You want to put a wizard tower on either end of your double bomb bomb site. Two giant bombs going off deals 450 damage, a level 5 hog has 475 health, with a wizard tower securing one end of the bomb site, there is a chance that the hogs will be one shot even if a heal is preemptively put on your bomb site.

If you can fulfill both things above then have a good position for your wizard tower.

    This is pretty accurate.

Thanks, maybe in clan wars someone will actually hit me with hogs or loons. Probably not likely as most people in my clan are TH7-8. Except maybe hogs, in which case 2 giant bombs should suffice, but I will see what I get hit with the most in clan wars and try to counter that.

Great guide here it has really helped me make a better base design. If you stick to the rules of thumbs find in this thread you can make a very strong base.

Thanks for the add and credit also.
