and my elixir must be used for barracks so I am conservative on that but yea gold is 100% devoted to walls

I feel the same. Since upgrading my walls to level 7 it's like the amateur players are just 'nexting' my base, this leaves all the pro's to wreck havoc all over my base.

my core is entire lvl 7 walls as of this morning but I haven't been attacked by fellow th7 just 8's

The number of WB that is required to break lvl 6 or lvl 7 walls are the same, so i thk u can go to th 8 to finish them especially if the core got already lvl 7 walls (because the core is harder to take out as you had to send your WB more far the walls).

Walls are a dangerous addiction. Immediately see a doctor if your builders become neglected for over a week to walls. Side affects may include an epic gold grab score. Use only as directed. Remember you can always find help.

Since I'm a TH level 8, do I need my walls at level 8?

Th7 is the best place the farm. I keep a builder empty usually for walls and have maybe less than half to farm the lv7. My plan is to finish maxing stuff and save a few longs upgrades to do during the 8 day Th8 upgrade then use those 8 days and spare builder to farm walls so i can stay active and not bored waiting

Sweet, I would snipe even higher, I had my best luck in Crystal 3 and gold 1. I got some sweet 2000+ drill raids.

My 5 cents: if you have no more work for your builders (bombs, buildings, defenses) you should move up in TH.

Even at TH 8 or TH 9 farming is great.

Walls walls walls... Well even top players with all Lava walls will get crushed. Bombers/hogs/minions/balloons do not care so much about walls... So do not leave your builders sit idle while upgrading walls. I just do my walls when I have extra gold.

the chance of getting crushed only depends on: do you put your TH in or out and how much gold do you stock.

and finally: for a bit of a pro player, that like to collect gold by barching/BAM....max mortar and max wizz towers... And the number you have of those 2-3-4 ... Is more important than the color of your wall.

Everything below level 7 walls shows that you are a noob and not good at farming.
Many clans do not accept people with walls below level 7, so I would get them all to that level at least.

Start upgrading and do your walls while upgrading.
Purple walls don't take that long.
