if copy is hard, allow paste, because even then, someone who wants to be understood can paste in text after translating it manually.

    thanks for your consideration!

Yes please! I'm a member of a Thailand-based Clan, and just got a message in my Inbox from the leader. I have no idea what it says, and Google Translate isn't quite helpful just yet... From the characters and the graphical charts that correlate them to English sounds, it might be "ykkhnswknwhaihm"? But without the ability to copy the original text into a proper translator (not to mention a lack of knowledge of the language itself) I can only guess what sound each symbol is supposed to represent, what words they're supposed to form, or what those words mean.

(edit) Half an hour later, with the help of thai-language.com, I've come to find out more about what was being said so I can give google translate more to work with. My initial delve into translation was horribly wrong; it's actually (probably) closer to "thook kheeun chuay gan waaw mai", which I'm positive is still at least partially incorrect. I think I'm being asked to continue donating troops during our clan war, with a more literal translation being "every night collective warp?"... but again, not sure if that's accurate. "Thook kheeun" I've come to understand probably has something to do with time tables or schedules, "mai" at the end of a sentence apparently indicates a question, and "waaw" as far as I can tell means "warp". Whether that's warp in the sense of teleportation or in the sense of modifying or changing, I'm not sure. That leaves "chuay gan" as the part missing out, and has something maybe to do with teams?

And what if ggl translate makes mistakes?

Like with russian language its best to use other translators and surtainly not ggl translate.

Copy/paste would be much better. Everyone could make their own translations and copy them to chat.

Or copy from chat to translator
