The most important tip for a looner would be to understand how your loons are going to track. Dumping them in a spot in to have them track across an AD to attack a canon can and will ruin a raid. Also, watch out for hidden teslas as they can bunch up loons and totally throw your raid off point. I typically throw down a couple minions in areas where I am going to send in balloons for two reasons 1 to test for hidden teslas and 2 to trigger and waste the air bombs on the minions. Typically, a good looner is certain how his balloons will attack a base before he deploys thems so its a good ideas to check for unknowns and eliminate them beforehand.
