TH9 Upgrade Order

What defenses(in your opinion) are the absolute most important to max out first for TH9? More specifically I would like to know when I should save up for level 3 X-bows. Should I knockout the cheaper upgrades first in order to help save up to the 7mil it takes for the xbows? Would the extra dps(from the cheaper upgrades) prevent me from getting rocked for 350k because I can't recover those losses playing intermittently through out the day(placing my TH outside my walls has helped quite a bit if anyone else has trouble recovering losses). Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.

My current defense levels:
Mortars level 7
Wiz Towers level 6
Cannons/Archer Towers level 10
AD level 6
Hidden Teslas level 5 and one level 6
X-bows level 2

xbows, they get a BIIIIIIGGGG increase in damage at level 3.

Okay, so to me it doesnt really matter what you upgrade first as long as you roughly get it right and end up doing them all. But I will answer your question and firstly I think the mortar is the most important upgrade, followed by the clan castle and air defence. The mortat will be crucial to taking out lvl 6 archers/barbs. The CC just is great as it gives you more troops, more war loot etc... and The air defence as it will really help out with high level air attacks against you. And for the xbows, go for it, I would upgrade the cannons and air defence first, but I dont think it would be a bad decision, so up to you

I'll be TH9 in 8 days and I have my plan in place. Having my storages maxed along with some extra loot in my CC. I have 5 builders.

Building both X-bows. Upgrading 2 army camps. The last builder is to build all other new structures like AT, WT, AD, walls, etc.

I'll be sending one of the X-bows to L2 right away and the other as soon as I can get another 5M gold. I want them done ASAP since I'll be going through the early town hall woes anyway as a new 9. Figuring the first few months will be rough, but I'd rather go through more pain early when I'm weakest.

X-Bow is a good choice.
