Max Everything before upgrading TH ? Come on guys... think again!

As a fellow premie th 9. I agree that the "Max Everything" rule is now really outdated. I rushed my TH to lvl 9 yesterday. Everyone in my clan was like "You will regret it very much." Am I regretting it? NO! I'm actually getting EVEN BETTER loot than I was at TH 8. TH 8 I would maybe get 100k raids. As a th 9 I'm earning even more loot 300k raids (Each Btw). I may stick at th 9 for a while but I will still rush to th 10. Most people would agree now that as long as your offense is maxed. You are good to go. People now think that walls and defenses are now pointless! And they kinda are. Chief Pat gives us proof when he did his "Defenseless Champions" series. So ya there's my end. Don't know how to end it so..

If you only get 100k per raid there must be something wrong with your attack skill. Th8 is still better place to farm gold and elix as i can finish skull within 3 weeks.

Atm im trying to push to master and i get free shield pretty much everytime i log out with minimum damage done to my base. Th10 only get abit of resources which can easily recover by my collector.

On topic, rushing to th9 is the best thing to do if you know how. I didnt do it just for the sake of maxing as i dont like how premmie look and still enjoy the game.

I'm 4 weeks into TH 9 and I don't agree with rushing. Why? I was a near max TH 8 and now after a month, this is what I have:

-all skull walls
-AQ 5
-BK upgrading to 9
-all army camps 7
-WT, AT, cannons and mortar TH 8 max
-2 xbows at level 1
-all traps at TH 8 max
-barb 6 is now active.researching giant 6
-new gold/elix storages are upgrading to 10
-AD upgrading to 4
-3 tesla 6 and 1 tesla 5

Would I have all of that if I rushed? No. Careful build planning and attacking in session with previous maxed TH made it possible. No max TH 8 attack me. The only people that attack me are mid 10s and late 9s and at most they only get 3 storages.

IMHO maxing is the way to go if you don't want to be food for 8s, other 9s and 10s.

I was in gold 3(1523) and I was only sniped by a th 8. And barched for 50% (1star) by th 9. I think I'm gonna be fine with defenses. And I wasn't even using a good base when I was barched. I made my own while trying to find a base with aq but no xbows.

Okay maybe 150k each per raid. So about 200k-300k raids. And yes it is considering I'm getting 400k-600k raids now :P but I understand how you don't like how premmies look.

Do not rush to TH10. Your loot will get a HUGE hit.
As TH9 you can farm TH8 , TH9 and TH10 and the easy loot is in those TH8 bases.
As TH10 the is 50% loot penalty on TH8, so you are basically limited to TH9 an 10 and this is a huge hit to your income.

Ya I won't, I'm planning to stay at th 9 for a while.

I understand but I believe that if your defense is not that great, people will raid you constantly so you might have difficulty upgrading troops and royals in the long run.

Great pick on the Kraken. Its a great layout for pre xbow and when you upgrade xbows.

I came as a premmie into th9.
Only thing maxed was barch, ballons and minions, plus all spells. Also my army camps ( offense maxed from th8 basically)
only had WT and mortars maxed.
AD, towers, cannons, etc where th lvl7 level. Walls purple.

to this day ( its been 2 months ) ive been 3 starred once, by a butthurt th10( who revenged and did not even profit, lol )
th8s never raid me, and if they do, it is a fail, always.

Sitting at maxed WT, lvl 10 heroes, max mortars, all skulls, some legos, maxed hogs, loons, drags etc.
Rushing is fine and more importantly, AQ is a DE assassin. No other th gets as much DE as a th9. ( th10 obviously ).

forgot to add, max CC and lvl 2 xbows. Ive been raiding less lately, doing the collectors etc. If i was more active, would probably be all legos.

Yes the more better way.....take the advice from the guy who suggests the more better way.

The hard way and the right way are usually the same way. Write that down....then go max your base.

I lol when I see people like you. People rush so they can have a strong offense. I rushed, and I get raided for 50%+ storages every once and a while. But for the most part I am the one crushing other peoples bases 20-30 times in between your 1 shot at me. For those of you not very good at math like this guy, that means I can make gold for whatever upgrade I need and logoff before you even see my gold. On the off chance that I don't make enough, you might raid me for 300k+ (I usually get sniped), but I'll make it back in 1-2 raids once I get back on. So please feel free to raid me, enjoy those resources maxing your base. Maxers always say rushers have that "I'm right and there's no other way to do it" attitude. Well, I say, why do maxers always bring this ♥♥♥♥...I feel no need to waste my time here anymore.
