Max Everything before upgrading TH ? Come on guys... think again!

See to it as, which one is better for a premmie TH to be 3-starred, get 16 hrs shield and be done with it. Or... A maxed TH to be raided 37% three times, has the de storage zapped twice and eventually 2-starred after all the traps and cc troops were gone ?

Max out everything. There are a few exceptions to this. Like heroes (get them up to a high lvl though), Mines, Pumps, DE troops, and walls

It is no secret that the loot gets worse every town hall progression. So if you goal is to have a beastly base with high lvl defenses and walls then I would suggest finishing everything before moving on. Its easier to do it now than later.

I've seen so many TH 9s and 10s that rush and are still high in trophie range and good with defenses. I'm a TH 7 trying to max out defenses and it's taking forever. Idk if I should rush to TH 8 or 9 or just max out everything

this is relative, for me TH9 gave me the best loot...
it's easier to do them on TH9 because you can defend well... there is no worry to get looted by next levels players like on TH7 and TH8

actually they rush because they know nothing about loot, trophy range, troops
if you know how to farm, when to farm and where to farm, you must have no problems...

if you get bored on TH7, it's always fine to go to TH8...

Thanks for pointing that out. I agree with almost every single premise you've expressed and it is different to go to TH9.
This game is about the offensive but if you can't protect your loot for a little bit you'll be eaten alive.
Personally I can't be on that much so I have to rely on defense to some degree. Once upgrades start costing 5 mil you will be a target to every player in the game. That's not true in TH8. You'd never keep that kind of loot on hand unless you didn't have a builder. Also having 30K of DE on hand is attractive.
The funniest part is you've expressed the most important concept: Intimidation. Nobody looks at your WT, AD or Mortars when you're surrounded by impressive walls. They just click next.

yo should i go to th8?

been th7 for 2 weeks, max walls, max splash, max burger king, max farming troops

canon and archer level 7, tesla level 1, air defence level 2

my elixir has been full the whole time i was at th7 but i don't care about that, i just dont want my gold to be full and now that my walls are max that is going to happen. th upgrade is 8 days so if i do it immediately i won't waste too much gold right?

I maxed to TH 10 when it just was released, I haven't spend gems or anything. I go max th coz it leads me to max lab for max troops, this way it doesn't matter my Def coz there will be always a better player than me (for now...^^) and I will have max troops to raid harder bases and get 2 00k gold per attack, just my way to play (of coz farming base giving gaining free shield, I get rarely attacked coz most players just want the trophies ) TO

With 4 builders th7 is a breeze th 8 takes a little time and a 5th builder would speed that up. Th8 already gets hit hard by th9's why not start with a good foundation and less work to do.
