Max Everything before upgrading TH ? Come on guys... think again!

With the new loot system, added Lv.6 troops and bunch of updates,
the game have much changed, and I think maxing everything is just an outdated advice now.

While it still make sure your progress will be smooth, but It's not efficient, boring and waste of effort ...

lots of people don't know this yet, and still following the old advice just because everyone in this forum just say 'max everything' anywhere.

so, I invite you all to think again... the new way to play this game, that is more better than the old maxing way.

WARNING: This thread do not advise everyone to rush th too, we're talking about when we should upgrade, and I think that is depend too on how we play, what troops we use and what is our goals.

Maybe not max everything but it's still good to upgrade a good amount before moving on. Expect ally since it takes a couple days to up troops in the lab

I think either extreme is pretty bad advice. I worry more about newer players upgrading prematurely before their offense/skill is ready for it. Active farmers can/should move on once their offense is ready. Overall people should stop throwing around super general advice before considering the type of player involved.

Active people: Go up TH when your offence is maxed is enough
Not-that-active/Busy people : max everything...

When people isn't active, they will have a harder time to recover the loses when being raided and thus will have a hard time to upgrade to their next offence level (and every upgrade in general).

For active people... Just raid what you lost and you're going to be OK. You might even upgrade TH as soon as your farming army has reached maxed and you will be OK :/ (BAM/Barch/etc)

no... we're not talking for rushing townhall either
gemming from th3 to th9 overnight is dumb

but as long as we meet several rules, it's better to upgrade whether you're active or non active ...
rushing is not just for active farmers that plays in extreme time... but it's applicable for anyone...

not really true,

by maxing th, busy people will loose much getting farmed while they are saving for the expensive upgrade.
they can't effectively farm too, because they will skip bases that is too strong for their current troops.

I agree if you play a good amount you can just max offense. Personally i hate going up a th early, i feel like im playing from behind and it really bugs me, so i max everything.

If you know how to play you can do whatever feels right for you. however iv noticed alot of people are really clueless. Talked to someone today who gemmed his lvl 3 barb upgrade when he has 3 builder huts. other people seem to think army camps are a waste because "it's to expensive for 5 more toops.....".

If you know how to play, you'll find you'r way.
