I'm probably just reading this wrong but how do you attack them twice by losing the first attack? I have a feeling there's something I haven't known my whole time playing that I should know... Lol

Still very impressive DE loot in that amount of time.

Just dont give the opponent 40% shield. Leave him at %38-39 and server may pair you again
I got paired with same opponent 3 times in same night. 2 times i gave him %30 def wins and last one i got %40 and it cost him losing 5-6k DE in total lol! There is a thread about it in here i shared it before

Farming in champ so the bonus more than covers the DE cost of my 28/50 loonians combo.

I did that after Forum Elite. Was great until I lost both Heroes due to upgrading. I also found it too hard to raid regularly enough and win 50% and decent loot. Basically I was using 3 or 4 spells (without heroes), so even with boosted barracks it was 35 to 40 mins between raids.

Ive dropped down to Masters I at the moment, don't need Heroes there and 2 spells is enough most of the time. Raiding every 20 to 25 mins.

Might drop further soon so that I can actually log off between raids.

After Spring Trophy push I might switch to Tuvya's technique for a change of pace. Looks promising
